This webinar will review the roles of federal and provincial/territorial governments plus private health insurance in Canadian health care systems. It will also describe the determinants of health and provide a snapshot of federal, provincial/territorial and municipal roles in some determinants of health. Finally, the evolution of the Patients Redefining the Future of Healthcare in Canada Summit over the past six years will be described and basic concepts will be covered to help prepare for the event on November 15, 17, 18, and 19, 2021.
